Interesting debate today in my business law class that resulted in this amazing rant from my professor:
“We’ve read a case where a guy sued a dry cleaner for $10,000,000, claiming he received the wrong pair of pants. We’ve read a case where a woman sued for a house because she claimed she entered into a contract to mortgage a house in the restroom of a McDonald’s. These are all ACTUAL cases. Bottom line, if you take nothing else from this course, STAY OUT OF THE TEXTBOOK!” – Brian Edmonds
Always nice to laugh in the midst of a grueling course schedule.
